ABOUT ME
Greetings, everyone! I'm Christopher Tatsch, a driven academic with a passion for engineering and robotics. In 2017, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria, followed by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University. Currently, I'm a Ph.D. candidate under the guidance of Dr. Yu Gu at WVU.
My journey has been an exhilarating adventure, fueled by a fervent enthusiasm for robotics and its transformative potential. I've been privileged to contribute to a diverse range of robotics projects, each presenting its unique blend of challenges and opportunities. From developing algorithms for autonomous underground exploration to methods for robotic precision pollination
Furthermore, I've played a role in the development of several robotic platforms, including the Turtlebot3, Rhino, Stickbug, and Dimitri robots. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but also deepened my appreciation for the collaborative nature of engineering innovation.
Beyond the realm of robotics, my interests span a wide spectrum of disciplines. I find solace and inspiration in delving into world history, uncovering valuable insights from the lessons of the past. Additionally, the dynamic landscape of Economics intrigues me, as I endeavor to comprehend the intricate forces that shape our global society. I'm also an avid supporter of Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense.
